Five Jewish teens recorded their experiences in diaries as the world around them descended into World War II. These memoirs are a testament to the human spirit during a period in history that must never be forgotten. Five songwriting teams and Tony Award-winning writer Robert L. Freedman have crafted this world premiere theatrical event to bring their words to life to tell a story with stunning contemporary relevance.

WITNESSES features a book by Robert L. Freedman, music & lyrics by Matt Gould, Adam Gwon, Anna K. Jacobs, Mindi Dickstein & Carmel Dean and Jordan Beck & Gerald Sternbach. J. Scott Lapp directs the world premiere show with choreography by Natalie Iscovich, musical direction by Gerald Sternbach, scenic design by Matthew Herman, lighting design by Zach Blane, costumes by Janet Pitcher, sound design by Jon Fredette, projection design by Andrew Nagy, and props by Heather Longfellow. Diane L. David is the Production Stage Manager with casting by Lindsay Brooks, CSA.
